The CNC Machine Vasto upgrades everything: the linear bearings, the extrusions, the ball screws, the motors and the controller box (independent drivers for each axis). This machine comes with the 400W spindle stock. In order to release the full potential of this Monster, we strongly recommend upgrading to the DeWalt DWP611 or the Makita Router. (DeWalt and Makita router are not included)

2. Is there a warranty?

All FoxAlien CNC machines are protected by official 1-year warranty since the date of delivery.

All FoxAlien CNC accessories are protected by 3 months warranty since the date of delivery.

3. Can laser be installed for etching?

Yes, it supports spindle engraving and laser etcing, But only one model can be used at a time.

4. Can this CNC machine cut/engrave metals like Zinc Brass Aluminum?

Yes, it can be done very well with the correct parameters and router bits.

This Vasto machine works very well for engraving 7075-T6 or 6061 aluminum.

And it also can cut/engrave all kinds of material such as wood, leather, MDF, acrylic, foam, resin, nylon, carbon fiber, PCB

5. What software does the machine work with? and will it come with the software?

This CNC machine is based on GRBL and is compatible with GRBL control software. We provide free open source software – Candle, which can also be downloaded online / if you need other software, you may need to buy it yourself.

6. Can I run this directly connected to my PC?

Yes, this CNC machine can be connected to PC through USB cable.

7. Can I use this machine for 3D engraving, is it compatible with Mach3 software?

No. This machine moves on all 3 axes (x, y, and z) simultaneously, what we call true 3-axis CNC in the industry. It does not support 3D engraving and is not compatible with Mach3 software. But it can do 3D relief.

8. Where to download the driver, if the thumb drive comes with the machine are corrupted?
